Rainforestation Nature Park

Tropic Wings Coach Tours

Tropic Wings Coach Tours offer full and half day touring programs to Kuranda, including Kuranda Scenic Railway, Skyrail, Rainforestation Nature Park and Australian Butterfly Sanctuary; Cape Tribulation and Daintree; Outback and Atherton Tablelands; and Undara, as well as extended tours to Undara, Cape Tribulation and Daintree.

The Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary

The Rainforest Habitat is a wildlife park of the future and world leader in mixed immersion exhibits. It is situated in Port Douglas, Tropical North Queensland, Australia, on eight acres of land that has been recreated to provide a window into our natural environment. Visitors can wander through three different and unique environments that depict numerous species of the surrounding rainforest, wetlands, and grasslands.

Cairns Wildlife Dome

Cairns Wildlife Dome is a spectacular all-weather wildlife exhibit enclosed by a 20 metre high glass dome on top of Cairns' iconic Reef Hotel Casino. Cairns Wildlife Dome is one of the only Cairns attractions to be conveniently located adjacent to the Cairns Convention Centre and the major 5 star hotels. Cairns Wildlife Dome enables you to appreciate and understand the rainforest in more detail, offering a quality Australian wildlife experience that promotes education and understanding of rainforest ecology. Jungle Tours

Jungle Tours operates out of Cairns, Tropical North Queensland, Australia. For the adventurous budget traveller, Jungle Tours specialise in both 1 day and extended tours visiting the World Heritage areas of Cape Tribulation and the Daintree - where the oldest rainforest in the world meets the reef. Australian Butterfly Sanctuary

Australian Butterfly Sanctuary is the largest butterfly flight aviary in Australia, and prides itself on providing a quality wildlife experience in the heart of Kuranda. The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary's 3666 cubic metre aviary is home to over 1500 magnificent tropical butterflies that are hand reared on the premises. All are local rainforest species, including the electric blue Ulysses and the majestic fluoro green Cairns Birdwing. Both these and the smaller but equally colourful species, provide visitors with the unique experience of being surrounded by these habitually elusive wonders of nature. The aviary was opened in 1987 and has been visited by over a million people since. The butterfly's beguiling aerial dances and their tendency to land on brightly coloured clothing, has inspired and delighted young and old alike.
