The first ever Cairns Show took place on September 9th, 1891. The Hall Show displayed a wide variety of agricultural exhibits indoors. And there were also the traditional judging of cattle, pigs, poultry and the horse events for the outdoor segment. The opening night back then, attracted a crowd of about 300 people…
